Default Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo

Hey guys , I was wondering since I bought the car new a week or so ago (obsidian IS ) , that if its a good idea to use meguiars gold class shampoo and conditioner to wash it ? Would it affect the clear coat of the car ? And as far as meguiars quick detailer when should it be used and how often ? Is it to soon for me to use , because I really have no idea how that works , and also how do you apply the quick detailer spray to the car ?

Thanks in advance

You can wash it with no problem....the shampoo will have no effect on the clear coat...

Grab a bottle of their new Ultimate Quik Detailer ($9.99), you won't regret it.

Will not damage your paint, use it as much as you like. Just be sure to wipe off the excess residue.

thanks guyss so you just take the quick detailer and spray it onto the car and wipe it away ? does it need to go all over the car or it can be used in spots where theres dirt that needs to be removed like bird poop ? and im guessing the quick detailer doesnt hurt the clear coat of the car and can be used on a new car too ?

No, quick detailer is just a way to wipe up light dusting/bugs etc between washes to give your car a 'just washed look' All you do is spray, and wipe off with a clean microfiber cloth.
Detailer will not provide any protection, and usually lasts about a week.
You will need to wax (and glaze if you want) about every three months and clay bar the car about two times a year to keep the glassy, smooth surface.
Remember to try to use microfiber cloths, they are cheaper than terry cloths, and help prevent swirl scratches.

The paint is actually already cured from the factory. (its baked on)
You should be able to wax/polish your car. (well, thats what the Lexus dealer told me when i got the car)

Of course, all you have to do is try to go through your screen and reach for it. Don't go too softly or else the screen will push you back. You have to push hard enough for the screen to break
