Frick! LOL...I didn't use promoter....but I clear the hell out of it though. We'll see how it holds. Overall, I am happy with the results. My front chrome 'L" was kinda in bad shape so it showed through the spray but it looks damn good and freakin identical to my OEM's.

It should last long...I mean it will go through the normal wear and tear. After winter I will probably do some touch-ups. Like I said earlier I put like 5 coats of clear. Yea, I put about 4 Tamiya coats on mine.

i dont really know how the paint will hold up without any clear as all the parts i've done have been clearcoated. but if its in the back it should be better off than nay part in the front.

Bump...because I am planning on applying this to my headlight and fog housings. I'm just trying to get rid of all the chrome on my car. LOL Hopefully paint comes in this week...ordered 3 cans!

PureDrifter:
Do you think the PS-31 paint will hold up okay with the heat from the headlights? I don't even know if the headlights and fogs even produced enough heat to even matter.... Maybe I should also apply high heat clear coat instead of regular clear coat.....? Thoughts?

What brand of promoter do you suggest? Is there a special type that works best with the PS-31?

Dupli works good for me too, thanks! I just want to make sure that any promoter will stick okay on chrome follow by the ps-31.

I will post pics when I'm done.

I like the way the normal chrome contrasts the beautiful color of my Lexus so I will pass. Pretty cool though
