so i washed my car yesterday and i noticed how dull my shine was on my red paint so i spent the entire day on my car and the results were nothing short of spectacular this is how i did it
washed with Meguiars Deep Crystal car wash
Clayed my entire car with the Meguiars clay kit
cleaned the paint with Meguiars Deep Crystal paint cleaner
Polished the paint with none other than Meguiars Deep crystal polish
wiped the entire car down and used meguiars Quik Detailer
Waxed with Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax
cleaned my wheels and sprayed the tires with Black magic tire wet
i've never seen such a deep and clear paint finish on my car i'll post some pics when i get them

Here's a tip to cut your detail time in half -- get yourself a porter cable dual action polisher, or as it's known in the detail world PC DA. I bought myself one of these babies about 3 years ago and it has been worth every penny. I have since moved on to using a rotary polisher (dewalt) on my car - even faster than the PC but does take some practice.
THen you can start blowing your money on pads, boutique store waxes, polishes, and glazes - the fun just never ends.
