I too had the haze on my mirrors, the driver side that bugged me the most but I dealt with it. Few weeks ago, my mirrors won't move up or down so they replaced it under warranty so I got a new mirror. So if anyone that has a base IS where the mirrors don't go up or down, they should be aware of the issue.

Just an FYI.

It seems like a common problem so the dealership would know about it and should replace it, hopefully. I'll probably wait til my 5k Free Service to do it. I'll keep you guys updated. Thanks for all the help, I never would have though it could be replaced with the warranty.

I'm having the same problem with my car. I didn't buy it new, so I can't take it to the dealer for a free replacement. As someone mentioned, it looked fine when I bought it, but after washing it, the marks surfaced. It makes it really difficult to see sometimes. Any suggestions on how to remove them? Is my only option to find a replacement mirror?
