where are the scratches? exterior paint, wood trim, lcd screens? If its on the exterior paint, take it to a good professional detailer and do the basic wash, light polish and wax.

If your close by San Bruno, I recommend taking it to Phil at ADS Mobile. He charges $80 for that service and his specialty is black cars.

Can you catch your fingernail going across the scratch?
If not then go get some Meg’s Scratch-X and use some elbow grease to remove these scratch’s and follow up with a coat of your favorite wax.
Let us know if this worked.

if they are light scratches and can't feel with your fingernail then they are most likely "swirl" marks which come from improper car washing techniques or running your car through those automatic car washes (swirl-o-matics as they are called in the detail world).

They are easily removed by a professional detailer, tell them you want the "swirl" marks polished out then waxed. Be very specific in what you want them to do or you'll get the whole 9 yards and pay for it - clay, polish, glaze, wax, seal, interior ect. Unless it's a real bad case you should be able to have it all done for under $100 with just a polish and wax.

TIP: tell the detailer (if you should so choose to use one) you don't want them to use a polish or glaze with "fillers" you want the swirl marks POLISHED out not filled in. THere are products available out there that will fill in light swirl marks only to re-appear after a few washings.

Good luck
