Reapplying spoiler-help!
Originally, my car was in the body shop to repair my back bumper that was hit. I asked the body shop to apply an RMM spoiler I had bought. It stayed on great for one month and the spoiler started to move away from my car's surface.
No big deal. I peel off the old adhesive and reapply the 3M (double adhesive with the red back) tape. I apply the spoiler again and this time, it stuck to the car firmly, but lifts away from the spoiler now.
Any suggestions here? Better tape choice?

You might need to tend to the contact surfaces where it's pulling apart. Use some 3M Prepsol or any pre -paint surface cleaner/degreaser, you can even lightly wetsand said contact surfaces (tape off the area outside those spots so as not to degloss there) with 1200- 1500 grit to degloss after using the prep solvent, then hit it with solvent again and use NEW / FRESH 3M tape.
Should work! Best wishes,
Dan
