I'm looking into purchasing a Porter Cable 7424 buffer....has anyone purchased any product from either of these stores? $99.00 seems like a great price....one is offering the 5" disc and the other is offering the 6" disc. with purchase.
Here are the links:

I forgot what brand of pads Guitarman suggested to purchase??
Any suggestions on a good swirl remover(Meguiars Scratch-X?)....GS is only 3 months old...
Thanks....Brian

They both come with the 6" polishing pad, *not* the velcro backing plate that you'll have to purchase separately to use your foam pads. Read carefully. The only difference between the two is that Coastal includes the 6" counterweight, while the other ships with the 5" counterweight. Unfortunately, I have no idea which counterweight is "better". Heck, I don't even know which counterweight came with my PC, and I don't think it's critical. (Somebody else may want to educate us on the counterweights). I'd just buy from whoever ships for less. I ordered my pc 7424 from tools plus a couple weeks ago, I had a pleasant buying experience with them. I also ordered the 6" counter weight from them and then ordered my lake country ccs pads and backing plate from autogeek.net
