I accidentally burned my headlight lens...
...with a heatgun.
So i did 2000 grit wetsand, rubbing compound and then plastix, the mark still won't go away (but it is very smooth by touch). There's also a slight bulging of the area that is burnt.
Am I SOL? or is there a way I can salvage my plastic lens.

it's on my left highbeam. I was trying to take out condensation but i got a little impatient and left the heatgun on there a bit too long.
also polished my headlights with a rotary. they look amazing.
btw heatguns are on sale for $10 at harbor freight. and a decent rotary polish/sander is only $20

It looks like you melted the plastic and I think you might be out of luck.

ElististK, I might actually have a set of the lens from my old GS. Might have some scratches on them which you can polish up.. just don't burn them..lol Where in socal are you?
