Bird poop on clear bra
I got some poop on my hood. On the good side, it's on the clear bra and not directly on the car. On the bad side, I haven't been able to get it off. I've seen some posts about using clay for getting things off the actual paint. Will clay also work on the clear bra? Or, given that the poop is not directly on the paint, do I perhaps have other options?
Below is a photo of what it looks like. I couldn't embed a picase image directly into the post, so here's a link:

When I run over it with my nail, I feel like there's something that I could possibly scrape off, but I don't want to damage the clear bra.

Try taking a wet cloth and setting it on the area. This may loosen it enough for removal. If Not, I would try the clay bar. Be sure to use plenty of lubrication and rub very softly.

Clay bars are not good for clear bras. There are different methods for different films. If its 3M just use some alcohol and a soft towel or rag. If venture a good warm soap solution and soft towel seems to work well. Alcohol works too but seems to sit in the film and take a while to dry out. Sometimes even a quick detailer will take it right off. Depends on how long its been on there. That would be the best place to start.

soak w/wet rag or towel, or,
quick detailer,
or try baby wipes,
or try bug/tar remover (?)-dont know the impact on the clear bra w/this tho..........disclaimer-dont blame me if damages clear bra. to remove stubborn contaminates, i use the tar/bug remover. if i can get to it w/in few hours, i use baby wipes-works like a charm.
