I hope you're using some kind of quick detailer to keep the surface lubricated while doing that.

No i dont, i just rinse the towel after every section, trunk/quarter pannels/roof/doors...ect. AND if it feels like its starting to dry i rinse immediately OF COURSE i have the towel folded and as it gets dirty i use a different fold section. Works for me

NEVER with a dry towel, thats just crazy talk

What i trip out on is ppl that dont rinse the towel/shami as they dry after they shampoo... so... nasty lookin...

Water alone is not a good idea. Water's friction coefficient is high enough that it's not going to lift up the dirt from the paint. All you're doing is dragging the paint across the surface. At least use some quick detailing spray if you're not a fan of shampoo

the list looks fine. Just inspect your paint after the #9. It should finish fine. #3 is a glaze and an optional step that might give you a little higher gloss, but certainly no protection.

Havent personally used NXT, but some people seem to like it. If you want longer lasting protection, Collinite 845 or a sealant like Duragloss 105 will last much longer.

Just be careful you aren't hiding more then you're correcting.

Glazes have no protection, nor do they have correction ability. They basically "fill in" swirls and scratches to give a nice gloss. They don't remove them. That's why I said to inspect the paint after #9 and make sure you removed all the imperfections before moving onto #3.

You should be fine with the #9. If you need more correction ability, you could step up to #80 or #82. After you're done, inspect for remaining swirls or scratches. Then, you can use #3 for added depth/gloss.

Yes, a PC can take care of those swirls. You might want to get some #80 and an Orange pad. Don't worry about the curved edged. Just don't put too much pressure and just make sure to keep moving the PC and you'll be fine.
