Default polishing fog lights

i believe on the second gen GS 300 the fog light lenses are glass. I know with plastic i can wetsand with high grit and polish.

How do i polish glass, lots of small bumps in them.

I don't think you can sand them, it will make it worse if you sand it. I suggest to rinse/clean it and wax it afterwards. Or if available, get a replacement lens from the dealership.

I saw some product that sands down your windshield to reduce rock chips at Autozone. I wonder if that would work on the fogs.

I'm pretty sure the 2GS fogs lens are plastic. I do not think you can really wetsand glass anyways. Just remove the fogs and wetsand. It'll make it much easier.

what about just applying a 3M protection film to them????

how would this work if they're already dinged up?

If your foglamps are:

Plastic ... use Maguier's PLASTX

Glass ... Try Glass Scrub

The GS fogs are glass. Just pull the fogs off and swing by a clear bra installer to pick up some small pieces of clear bra film and get them covered up.

Don't know of a clear bra installer near you? Check out this site - http://www.clearbrafilms.com

Trust me, it's a lot cheaper than buying new fogs. I picked up a set on here a while back for a buddy of mine and it wasn't cheap.
