Between the snow, ice, road salt caked roads, and lack of a hose here at school, I waited longer than normal to wash my car the last time around. I haven't had the brake pad TSB done on my car, so the brake dust was pretty intense by the time I got around to washing.

When I got to the wheels, I was able to remove the heavy dust, but some of it had adhered to my wheels. I used P21S gel wheel cleaner, and a clay bar, but was still unable to remove some of the remaining black specs. It's really not noticeable, but it bothers me.

Any advice on how I can remove these light specs from my wheels?

Try Mr. Clean Rim Eraser. I had and have the same problem as you hehe. It did take a lot of it off however I am too lazy and dont have the whole day to sit there scrubbing when I want to get new rims any way.

This rim eraser sold OTC in most places? Walmart, Autozone, Adv. Auto parts? Or is it something likely to have to be ordered online? I have a similar situation of some spots that just aren't coming off without something more abrasive - or "Magical" ..

Yeah, its the magic eraser designed for "wheels & tires" is what it says on the box. It was on sale at Target 2 weeks ago for $4

Also took off a bit of paint transfer on my RX that claybar couldn
t get rid of. It was like an inch long line. Wouldn't recommend doing it too much but I quickly sealed it after
