Default 2001 ES300 Seats Detailed: Lexol vs. Mothers

Just a little project that I think some people may be thinking about doing as spring arrives (for those of us up north that is). I thought I'd post my results with these two products. And I don't like arguing over which products are better than others, as most give different results and people have personal preferences. In this case it was a preference of Mothers over Lexol.

My brother seemed to use the Lexol for his Camry and I had just started using the Mothers. These are both 'cleaners' and I didn't have the conditioners of each so my results will talk about them, maybe someone else can fill us in on the 'conditioners' and results.

Anyway, pretty straight forward detail, one on either side of my drivers seat. I applied them with a wet cloth and brushed it in lightly in a circular motion. Then wiped clean with a wet MF cloth. The results in the lower part of the screen was the finish that i liked. I realize that some peole like to make their car interiors gleam, but i do not. I like the factory finish like when the cars are brand new. After the cleaning the leather seemed very fresh and clean.

Now there wasn't a dramatic difference in the products and my seats weren't extremely dirty to start, so I'll say again i chose the Mothers b/c of the preference I had for the finish. To me it was the most appealing and it smelled good too. I do want to try the Zaino Z-9 ad Z-10 this summer if i can find the stuff at a decent price here in Canada. Shipping is going to kill me if i order from too far away. Anyway, here's the pics, tell me what you have used...

Hope this helps somebody...

I have Lexol...and its better than some of the other no-name leather cleaners out there. It leaves the leather noticeably softer but somewhat oily.
I also tried the zaino cleaner and conditioner. (veery expensive) and, its ok...the only thing i liked about it was its leathery/new car smell (although there is a slight hint of baby power smell to it). Its too expensive for monthly cleaning and conditioning, so i just use another conditioner and top that off with zaino for a nice smell
