Worse detailing job ever...
http://www.autoprodetailing.com/exterior.html
Went to that place the other day... they didn't reduce the swirl marks... and they buffed the front end of my car until little specs of primer showed everywhere!!! I am really pissed...now I have to get the entire front end repainted... Anyone know of any good places in the east bay area to get my car repainted? Sorry I dont have pictures...I still haven't replaced my camera that got stolen

check out www.autopia.org under the regional forums. You should be able to find a real professional there.

Go back to the body shop and speak with the owner.
A somewhat similar situation happened to me recently,.. I was just in to get some road paint buffed off.
3 hours later they had buffed off my paint.
The shop agreed to pay over half on the repaint. I agreed and was done with it.
I almost didn't make that second call, saved 200$ with a 5 minute phone call. Its worth a shot, they are responsible.
Though I did complain or make it aware of the missing paint before I left originally. I did like you , left without making reparations for the damage. I did get the bodyshop owner to refer me to his best paint guy. (Which is good). But I then went on the next day, encouraged by some on this forum, to call the guy back and worked the 50/50 deal out.

Dude that sux! They should pay for it! I feel your pain. When I took my car into Lexus for my 1,000 mile service, the techs ruin the finish on my leather in the front passenger seat. How crappy of the dealership to recommend a place like that for you to go to.
