Angry Leather seat torn!! How to repair?

Did some cleaning of my car yesterday and found my rear seat has scratches!! Looks like the leather is torn/peeled, not long though, about half inches.

This really pisses me off when I first found it, the fact that I'm really **** about my car cleanliness and everything.

Damn these passengers. they dont know how to appreciate other people's car. my passenger side and rear door sills have these shoes marks or some fading that can't be easily cleaned, and i'm really pissed by that too!! Really really really hate it if a passenger messes my car up!!

Btw any chance of repairing it so it looks like it's never been damaged? any help would be appreciated

Phew

I don't really know for Lexus but a porsche cayman's leather hand brake has tears like that from finger nails and so the dealer sanded it or did something to smooth the whole handle....doesnt feel like original but looks same tho..

Find an upholstery repair shop. If you can't locate one ask a better furniture store who they use. That damage can be repaired and matched both in color and grain so that it will look like it was never there.

Hope you don't mind me asking a similar question on your thread, but I have a small tear (all the way through) on the leather right on the edge where the window rolls down in the door.

It's a tear all the way through and about a 1/2" long.

Those of you that know, do I look for the same type of place to fix it, or is there another fix?

You can try and find an independent to do the work or just take it to the dealer. I just had both GSs gone through by Magnussen in Fremont and they did a great job. Obviously they don't do the work but they run the car over to whoever it is they use and have the work done. You pay Lexus dealer prices but you get the loaner and they stand behind the work. Just easier for me to have it done that way. Many tears or deep scuffs after repair do not have the leather grain but if you are good, you can see those now in your leather. That's where the cow rubbed up against something and got a cut or abraision. When it healed, it left a small smoother spot. The repairs just look like that.

I would have to get the bill out and look but I had them go through the whole interior and patch everything they found. I think it wound up being something like $400 but I will have to get the bill out and check. My wife and I both had multiple small tears and abraisions around the interior. I pointed out what I knew about to my service writer at Magnussen but I trust them and I told them that if they see any more, just go ahead and fix them. Whoever they used did a great job. The only thing they couldn't fix is a rolled "bead" on the GS seat that is on both the 2k1 and 2k3. It is plastic and it can crack and there is nothing they can do. The only think I noticed when I got the car back was that the places they repaired were particularly dry so I did two or three leather treatments and it is fine now.
