Yea pics would help. honestly if you are not that experienced I would just do my research and get somone to detail your car for you. I know a couple of people from Autopia that are more then adequate.

Depending on the depth of the scratches you might be able to eliminate them or at least reduce their appearance. I'd suggest trying ScratchX by hand with a terry cloth pad. Rub vigorously and inspect. It may take several passes to see improvement.

ScratchX is inexpensive and available at many auto stores and major dept. stores. Good first step.

I'm starting to love the pic I took with ScratchX now

Please please please don't do your entire car unless you are a body builder with huge *** arms. You'll thank me later haha. Time for my half trunk-1.5 hours

Lol, yeah same here. I lost count on the number of threads I've seen this picture in. Autopia too... =D

Starting to make me wonder if you ever did finish the other half of that trunk.

The easiest way to remove scratches is to polish with a machine. Most enthusuasts get amazing results with a UDM or a PC. Using a good polish will not only remove scratches, light swirls, and light oxidation, but will also give you true results....meaning not hiding anything.

(if you are a rotary user....even better if you know what you are doing)
