Rechrome shops?
Just curious, is there a rechrome shop around KY, or somewhere on the easern side of the USA?
Bought some different wheels, but cant put them on now...
How much does it typically cost for one wheel. Never buy used rims...chrome ones at that

I had some work done at wheel wizards on my last trip to Atlanta. they are great guys. Ask for Wendell , tell him the guy with the Lexus from Canada who destroyed his 20 inch OZ.

Do you have a pic of the damaged wheel?
My advise is mount them and keep the feelers going till you find a replacement or reasonable fix. At least you'll be able to enjoy riding on them. I see plenty of messed up wheels.
Before I bought new rubber, I was rolling on the spare and that was for about a month some odd.

yes, check this out. Fed Ex damaged it. The box was punctured. I'd suggest USPS, UPS, or DHL from now on...
There is a puncture spot above the chipped area. Thats actually where is was hit and the chipped area is where i think it continued across the rim. The pieces of chrome were laying at the bottom of the box and some attatched to the cover over the wheel. There were pieces of chrome that remained in tact but were peeling from the impact, so I pulled the remining peices away from the wheel...and that why it looks like that.
THe box was packaged AMAZINGLY, props to the seller. The wheels were very safe...but whatever hit the box was long, sharp and went through all the padding and covering.
Anyone work some a shipping company? My guess is maybe a forklift? I dont know?

An option...some of the guys who polish molds can do wonders in polishing that bare area out. If you can get in touch with someone in the metal working casting biz.
That sucks seeing that, I feel your pain.
