Oh it did, i ended up doing it again with the orbital, and it improved even further, however i didnt get pix of the finale. the pictures i took were done by hand, where as we all know, the outcome is limited by what the product is capable of.

Looks like you're off to a good start.
One observation though, maybe get a better camera to take a little higher resolution pics to show your before & after.
And I would agree, you can raise your prices a little, but not too much until you become a pro at it.
Nice work.

For polishing/compounding getting rid of swirls, scratches, oxidation, etching, etc I would charge at least $100 extra because to do it properly takes alot of time and effort. I completely washed, clayed, polished, and 2 step sealed/waxed 3 cars within about 2 weeks and it was alot of work and took alot of time. They were all black medium/large sized cars too and after all the time and effort I would have to charge around $200 for everything but did it for nothing since they were mine and my parents cars. I think your prices are kind of low but if you are doing it for friends who don't have really nice cars nor alot to spend on detailing then maybe your prices are about right although you definitely need to charge much more then $20 for polishing if you are doing the whole car and getting rid of swirls/scratches. For larger more expensive cars (especially black and dark cars) and for strangers then I think you need to charge more because it will not really be worth all the trouble after awhile.
