Default Anyone want to use my car as a piggy?

I need my car detailed badly, however, I do not have all of the essential utilities, nor the cash If someone would be generous enough to use my car as a guinea pig for their "portfolio," it would be appreciated. I'll even pay for your lunch, gas, etc. I have a big driveway, so you have all the space to work on the car.

Anyone?

I'm thinking about buying a PC. But there are sooo many ways and information I get confused with all the different pads. I have a Millenium Silver color, what tips can you give me if you have similar color. I want Light swirls gone & ultimate shine possible.
Thanks
-Yosh

So my friend lent me his Rockford 10" buffer. I think it's rotary? Don't know. Would someone be kind enough to give me some tutorials on how to use this before I burn my paint? lol

A rotary is not the best for beginners. If you dont know how to keep it moving you will burn through your paint quick

No pressure, let the machine do the work, lots of compound, never stop in one place, do a small place on the car that is not noticeable first.

you may be better off doing it by hand, it's very time consuming but worth the effort. Maybe do the hood and fenders then another section.

make sure you get all the residue off .when you've finished an aria, go over it again with a clean towel, always in circular motion "karate kid, wax on wax off ".

you don't have to do it all in one day.

DON'T DO IT IN THE SUN! the best time is in the evening after the car has cooled "not just over the engine, the entire car should be cool", or do it in a garage.

BE CAREFUL!

I'm not a pro but I've had great success before
