I gotta try that.

While I was working for Volks, we recommend all customers to not use any chemicals and only use soap and water. I dunno why, but they made us say that.

Keep in mind that the All Wheel Cleaner is the one thats "safe" for all wheels out there. If it causes problems, email Mike Phillips for telling the clinic a wrong fact lol

Its also the weakest cleaner so don't think it'll dissolve everything on the first round. It may need more applications and minor agitation to work. After it is done working, most of the stuff should spray off but the ones that don't can be wiped off with a MF or whatever towel you use. I was pleasantly surprised with that

Meguiars that are found off the shelf are usually great wheel cleaners. They're not super acidic like their professional line so you're good to go. Usually car wash soap will be enough to wash off brake dust.

dont bring your car to a swirl infested car wash. Case closed heh.

Just pressure wash your car and rims.

I had no issues when I had my rims when going thru a car wash. Truthfully, I don't think a car wash gets my rims clean the way I want it. I'm almost always doing some touch up on the wheels after I go thru a car wash.

I just found a Mobil drive through car wash in Manhattan Beach that doesn't have rails on the ground. Its completely drive through and you drive in and arms goes around your car and cleans it. Completely touchfree with no chance of scratching anything. This would be the only kind of drive through car wash I would take my car to. Carwash with rails = for me.
