Default Touch-up paint

Last night my car got a deep scratch with yellow paint around it while parked at St. Marks place in NYC. I picked up a touch-up paint from my local dealer this morning, but after I applied it, I found out that the paint was of different color. Mine is tungsten pearl (1g1) but the paint turned out to be silver metallic (1c0) or something like that for first gen is. If I apply the right color tomorrow, will it look okay? or will the color show as a combination of tungsten pearl + silver metallic?? It's my first scratch on my IS, so I know that I'm being over concerned.

First of all, if you've got yellow paint on your car that transfered from the car that hit you, it probably means that your paint underneath hasn't been affected. A professional detailer could probably polish it out and you wouldn't even be able to tell. Of course, without seeing the damage, it's hard to say. Can you post some pics?
