Hot wheels messed up a set of my Rims! To tell you the truth, SIMPLE GREEN works miracles. I was using it to clean my engine bay (not directly spraying, using a rag) When I noticed my rims were really dirty and sprayed some...all the grease, grime, dirt, etc. came right off. Just spray and leave for a minute or so and it washes right off, no wiping. It's a universal cleaner for just about everything, literally.

Simple Green will stain aluminum if you don't get it completely removed. Use with caution.

Well of course you need to use a proper ratio worked fine on many pairs of my rims..alloy, chrome, painted rims. I guess *Use at your own risk*
