Default A few quick questions before I detail black LS400 (Menzerna and NXT)

I'm going to be detailing my 1996 black LS400, and just wanted to run my products by everyone before I started. The paint has been pretty neglected with lots of swirls and scratches, but nothing that can't be corrected with a PC and some time. Here are the products I plan on using:

1. Menzerna PO 83 SIP
2. Menzerna 106FF
3. ???
4. NXT 2.0

Should I apply any product in between the 106FF and the NXT such as the Menzerna Final Polish or Finishing Glaze? Not sure if Klasse AIO is an alternative for step 3 as well?

Thanks!

I usually use a glaze but I've heard that 106FF finishes straight to wax if you break it down right

Looks good as long as you've clayed and stuff prior. Good luck and post pics man

after 106FF, it's safe to apply wax

i'd fill that ??? with a sealant. Something that protects. I suggest Chemical guys Jetseal 109. It gives a slight carnauba wax look! and wax on top of that would look great!

Thanks for the info. Any idea what glaze works well with NXT as the LSP? Not sure if the Menzerna Finishing Glaze is a good choice?

Will Jetseal work well with NXT? Thanks!

Well, technically NXT X.0 is a "sealant" of sorts. I usually use it before putting anything else on, but if you need a glaze stay away from #7 of Meguiars line. The durability of that destroyed my layers of NXT 2.0 AND Zymol

Danase Wet Glaze is a popular choice for the "pop" that it gives to paint though. As for MFG, I'm currently testing it on a black e46 so I can't really comment on that
