How to get rubber from tire rubbing off of paint?
My front tire is rubbing and melted some rubber onto my front fender? Any recommendations on how to get it off safely? Thanks in advance...

I have to get rubber off my wife's track car finish all the time.
One caveat is that I don't care "much" about the paint on her track car, so I don't look for scratches in the surface, etc. after I clean it.
The stuff I use at the track is called QuicShine 99

I use it like a QD on the entire car, but a shot on the rubber skids on the car takes them right off.
When we're doing a wash at home I use a spray bug and tar remover (like this one or Stoner's Tarminator) with a special wrapped bug removal sponge.
