polish, seal, wax

you don't really need glaze unless you have a scratch you absolutely cannot polish out and is still in the clear coat

Yes, but wrong order.

Polish, glaze then apply a wax or sealant. Glazes will evaporate quickly unless a sealer is put over them. Glazes are optional but they do make the paint look wetter.

However you might want to be careful if you glaze. Though it may make it look wetter, I've found out that the ones I've tried tend to shorten the length of the sealant or wax by a bit...

Since i dont know how to polish of glaze, I just wipe it down once again with quick detailer spray and then wax the car.

Im thinking a paint cleaner is similar to polishing the car?

no, a paint cleaner just cleans the paint of contaminants and leaves a clean finish (but it will still be rough, so usually clay, then use paint cleaner, but the paint cleaner is not necessary)

polishing the car is the process of actually leveling a certain amount of clear coat in order to get rid of swirl marks and scratches.

hope that helps!

Paint cleaners are similar to polishes but there are two types of paint cleaners. One cleans by chemical means and the other by using very fine abrasives, much like a polish. When looking at the difference between a cleaner/polish and a regular polish you would find that the cleaner polish has much finer abrasives and in many cases they dissolve or break down with the friction when used. The cleaner polish is intended to remove stains and very light swirls while the regular polish is intended to remove deeper marring. Either will clean however.

A glaze should be applied and removed soon after. Like a polish, it should never be left to dry on the paint. A glaze will hide, temporarily, some paint defects and swirls. Glazes impart a very wet look to your paint. Glazes don't always work well with some sealants. Zaino doesn't like glazes and it effects the bonding. NXT 2.0 however, thrives on glazes and it's bonding is unaffected by the glaze.

What I would do is:
Polish>Finishing Polish>Seal>Acrylic Based Glaze>Seal Again
Or more detailed products, my favorite is:
SIP>106ff>UPGP>DWG x2>UPGP x2>OID wipedown
