Default Removing paint from Chrome

A while back I decided to paint the chrome window trim black. Well, now it is flaking off piece by piece. I also wanted to remove the paint from the B-pillar as well.

I have tried a razor blade and a screw driver, but the blade doesn't dig deep enough and the screw driver seems to scratch the chrome. How can I safely remove the paint?

What about if there are scratches? Can you wet sand and polish chrome like clear coat and paint?

Go to the hardware store and buy those plastic scrapers. I dont know about sanding that part. I dont think that metal coating is all that thick.

I just did this on my '50 Streamliner........... I had primed it and needed to get my hood chrome strip back.

Works great.

Before, check out the middle of the hood:

After, I got my chrome back:
