Keyed
Sooo...
The other night my car got keyed all along the passenger side. From the tail lamp to the the headlamp...
Some places are deeper then others.... I just tried that Scratch X stuff and got rid of some of it, but there's still some left...
Looks like I might be lucky and most of it might have just been the clear coat...
Any recommendations on how to try and clean it up some more?
I do own a PC with some pads.........
Pictures to follow a little later.

I'd say to grab some 4" pads with a compound/polish and go from there. Be careful wiht how much you remove, since in order to make the scratch less noticeable, you need to wear down the clear. Obviously you dont want to go too far.
I typically use optimum hyper compound w/ a drop of optimum polish mixed in on a 4" orange pad. Follow with polish on a white pad (you can go w/ 4 or 6.5" to finish). You might have to play w/ it to see what works best for you though.

i would first try some menzerna SIP on a orange pad. if that doesnt work, bump it up to Powergloss or M105, but remember you lose a lot of CC when using either, so only use those if you HAVE to.

Sorry to hear about your car getting keyed. I've had that happen to me once and it's something that's hard to get over. If the scratches did not penetrate throught the clear coat, you can always us some fine polish to buff it out. In my case, I had to get a pro detailer to buff the scratches out. Even now, you can still see a fait line of where the scratches used to be. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Yeah no dice. I attacked it with my porter and couldn't get it off.
I called my insurance and filed a claim to get it painted. $500 out of my pocket for deductible....
What do you guys think it costs to repaint an entire car? I'm bouncing the idea of painting it a completely different color...

A good quality paint job will cost more than $500 so you might want to just pay the deductible. Why don't you get a couple of quotes to see how much it will cost to repaint the car and then decide what you want to do. Remember to bring it to reputable shops.
