Default Scratched Wood (Interior)

Does anyone know what the best way to cover the scratches are on the center dash? Mine has looked perfect until this weekend... I have no idea how but currently there are 2 big scratches on the wood and it is bothering me! Is there any sort of polish I can use on it to make it look shiny and a bit smoother again? The scratches are not deep! Thanks!

I don't know of any polish available for that. I would not suggest plastic polish, as it would most likely dull the finish.

One thing you can do is search in the yellow pages for an interior specialist. A lot of dealers around my area send wood trim panels out to be refinished. That might be your only option.....

I use a little Zymol car cleaner/wax to remove surface scracthes on this and it works fine. I guess the laquer finish is not thick enough in the 2gen.

Have you tried a light hand polish light scratchx?

The most aggressive thing I might attempt would be an AIO like poliseal or poorboys pro polish, maybe.
