Gasoline all over my car...
well, today everything was going normally, until i went to the pump...
when i pulled the trigger on the pump, gasoline started to spray everywhere! the pump was disconnected from the hose somehow.. and lucky me, i picked that pump..
so, does anybody know if gasoline is bad for the paint? what's the quickest and best way to get the gasoline off? it was raining, so it washed away some of it, but i'm still worried that the gas will do something to the paint..
might as well, since i am here.. is it hard to get gasoline out of my clothes? what should i wash it with? also, how can i get the stank smell of it out of my car...?

I'm sure it removed any wax you had on there, thats for sure. Wash it as soon as possible. Chances are, it did no damage, just caused a little inconvenience for you. I've seen diesel repeatedly left under the fill cap area and I have yet to see it do permanent damage. So yea, I'm pretty sure you're ok w/ this incident, even more so since it was raining and was diluted almost immediatley.
