Has anyone found a touch up paint that matches the stock Lexus silver? Like to touch up stone chips? I tried Argent Silver but it was to dark.

I am looking for touch up/spray for my L tuned OZ silver Super Turismos and have not had any luck no matter who I ask, even the OZ manufacture. I know you can get the silver spray for most European rims like what is on Audi's which I think is called Werth but as far as Lexus and many after market rims it is tuff to find an exact color match and what they use. Try asking Tirerack but they were not helpful when I asked and did not answer my question.

There must be some touch up color from Dupli Color that is the same or very close to the wheel color. I don't feel like buying the small bottles of touch up paint for $7-10 a bottle till I find the right one. That could get real expensive.

Search the 2IS forum. I am pretty sure there was a 2008 changes thread that had the old and new wheel color paint codes. Good luck.

what about for 2001 GGP IS300 the rims the car has are the stock ones but they are almost gun metal looking. id love to sand down the curb rash and touch them up. any ideas? sorry not trying to steal thread

I had my body shop custom match the color of my wheels. I don't think there is a color code for the silver wheel color.

I have a 92 Lexus SC with stock rims and the color I found that matches pretty close to perfect is Dupli Color Silver Charcoal, dsfm236. Got it at local auto parts store. I was using it to match the color on the centercaps to touch them up. To my eye its looks 100% and I'm pretty picky. Not sure if the color of the stock rims has changed over the years but its the only 1 I found that matches and was inexpensive if it wasnt the right one.

I have the third gen GS 18's the Hyper silver i think is the color, i need paint code or touch up paint for these. Would be great.

the factory lexus silver painted wheels are actually not a lexus color. The color is an exact match to Honda's Starlight Silver.

Dupli Color Silver Charcoal, dsfm236 was a very close match for my 2008 LS460.
