To those who use Leatherique Oil Conditioner
I prefer to use Leatherique products to take care of my new leather seats.
To those who use the Rejuvinator oil to condition newer leather seats on a regular basis, how often to you do apply it? On the Leatherique website they recommend every 6-months. However they also recommend that you apply it when its hot out which helps the conditioning agents work better. Its also a time consuming process where you have to leave the car for several hours during a hot day.

I also use rejuvinator oil every 6 mos. I apply it liberally to all leather, then leave the car outside all day. I try to get a day in the 80s. Come back later that day/evening and remove using prestine clean. Do a second, quick, application of prestine clean just to make sure everything is spotless. Works beautifully every time

Chris what about for those of us who live in climates where there are no 80 degree days in the winter (considering the 6-month interval).
Is it still worth applying if the weather is 50 degrees?

Leatherique is very expensive but good stuff but is mainly for older European untreated or unprotected leather and not nearly as effective or even uneffective on newer treated/protected leather like most modern Lexus leathers so you may be wasting money if you are trying to soften/condition modern Lexus leather because the Leatherique generally will not penetrate the protective coating. If you want something less expensive that works as well if not better in my opinion try a product called Surflex Sofner, it is much less expensive and does not require 2 different bottles and 2 seperate processes. Both leatherique and Surflex Sofner are extremely similiar but Surflex seems a little more concentrated then leatherique and seemed to work a little better, you probably are better off ordering 2 cans of Sofner as there is not all that much in one can.
