Is there a noticeable smell or lack thereof after you cleaned it?

that didnt even cross my mind, i just used my shop vac. if you have steam vacuum why not but i dono if it gets too hot might be bad for the carpet. but the 409 was like 3 dollars. its like 409 spot and stain remover, its a carpet cleaner.
ps, chrono: u make that color sc look sexy bro, i like it alot!

more details?
did you just spray and scrub then vaccuum?
did you use any water at all? did it soak your carpet by just spraying?
how much did you spray? did you use the whole bottle for your car?
i was thinking about buying some car interior shampoo... but your method might be save me lot more time and money and labor!!
how was your carpet before? can't wait til see the pictures!!

couldn't wait... i just did mine before work this morning. mine is black so couldn't really tell on color but carpet smells better and feels softer too. i used same 409 carpet cleaner in a spay can i bought from walgreens for $3.99 and a scrub brush for $3.59. and used the whole can sprayed through out whole carpet and let it soak for about 5 minutes and started scrubbing it. took me about 40 minutes from start to finish. i did it at a carwash because i live in a condo so no shop vac on hand. used $5 on coin-vacuumm. can't wait til it dries. i will take some pic when i get home and post it. wonder if i will get that same result like detail shops when it completely dries.

I didn't get "Professional Detailed" look i wanted but i am still satisfied with the results, i might have scrubbed it too hard as you can see some part of carpet has some white hairy looking thing coming out which i have to pick by hand vacuumm won't suck it.... but here is some pics... sorry didn't take a picture before, just after shots... enjoy!!
