taking off this sticker/paint
I have this grey stripe thats painted/stickered to the side of my car and want to take it off. I think its painted on, i can scratch it off but it would take a while. Any ideas how to take it off easier?

i did this to my civic about 10 years ago and it worked perfectly, just be prepared for hours and hours of minute millimeter by millimeter work, oh and some blisterson you thumb too. don't use to muck goo off though and clean it well right after. But if its painted DON'T DO IT. Find out if it is a factory option or take it to bto a body shop to find out first. DON'T start schraching it off before you know. PS good luck it is a pain in the kester(or at least mine was because it was a new car and the adhesive was brand new)

^ he said it was painted on,not sticker,
usually lacquer thinner or acetone will remove it,some of the airbrush guys mix in some hardener ,then it's a PITA,I'd try lacquer thinner on soft towel first,if not, wrap some 1200 grit sandpaper on mmixing stick and wetsand that junk off, then buff ,wax

you know that some painted on pinstripes can be scratched off with a tip of fingernail ? I have been in body/paint industry for nearly 20 years,18 of which I have owned my own custom shop,I think I know what 3M wheel does, what tools it attaches to and what it does
