I can't say which works best, but I've been using Lexol Leather Cleaner and Lexol Leather Conditioner and I've been happy with them for many years.

There is a car_care/detailing sub-forum with plenty of good advice.

I don't like the smell of LEXOL myself so I always use MOTHERS LEATHER CLEANER and CONDITIONER, smells great.

I use the Turtle Wax leather cleaner. It's cheap and works fine. The smell is quite pleasant. Finally finished the big bottle after 6+ years. The new bottle is half the size for the same price, though. Talk about inflation.

Lexus sells a good leather cleaner and leather conditioner. No strong lingering smell and both products work quite well. They don't leave a slippery or oily feel like some other popular brands. They are not very expensive either.
