Default Filmy windows!!@@ :(

I for the life of me no matter what i use to clean my windows can not keep a streeky film from commin on them. I have used several different products over the years and they will look awesome right after its done, but a week or so later looks like a film or marks of where you wiped it. I dont smoke , but that is kind of what it reminds me of is that film on whindows when a smoker is in your car. What is the deal, why so hard to get clear windoww

What i usually do first is take some windex with steel wool (000 grade) and go over the window real good just to remove any of the oil/particles anything that is on there it will take off. Then have another bottle of windex with some vinegar mixed in it, not alot, but pour enough in there to get results use your judgement. Then just clean the window real good with that and then go back over with that microfiber rag to remove streaks and what not. Should work out great for you. Oh but of course dont use the the steel wool on tint...you wouldnt believe how many do.

What I do is clay bar the windows and then clean them with Stoners Invisible Glass and 2 microfibers(One to clean and one to buff off residue, don't mix it up).

You can see the difference between the clean side and the dirty one.

I wish I could remember where I posted a printed article on the window film. Its basically just off-gassing from your dash though. You'll never stop it from happening unfortunately.

Stoners + MF Glass towel is a killer combo though. The key really is the mf glass towels. They make a huge difference over a paper towel or newspaper.

If your car is out in the hot sun and this seems to accelerate the filim inside how about getting a sun shield for the inside glass to keep the sun off the dash and see how that works.. good luck with this.. DanF
