7-Hour Zaino
Finally got around to detailing my car. Took a total of 7 hours (9am - 4pm with minimal breaks) and that was with two people working on it!!
Curious... what does everyone else average time-wise when you give your baby the full treatment?
Steps I did:
1. Wash with Dawn
2. Clay Bar
3. Wash with Z-7
4. Detail Wheels & Tires
5. Apply & Remove Z-AIO
6. Apply & Remove Z-2 + ZFX
7. Apply & Remove Z-2 + ZFX (2nd coat)
8. Apply Z-6
9. Apply Z-CS
10. Clean interior (vacuum, dust, clean, etc.)
11. Apply Z-9 to leather & vinyl
12. Apply Z-10 to leather
13. Wipe down exterior (remove any remaining Z-CS)
14. Sit back and admire!!

I've never heard of anyone using dishwasher soap. You'll be lucky if the wax is all you took off. I don't recommend it. I've never seen ANY professional detailer use dishwasher soap to remove wax. You're supposed to polish with an abrasive and semi-abrasive to remove anything and it removes swirls. Here's an example.

However, if you are claying your car, none of it matters because clay will remove all the wax anyways.
Also, another tip for you zaino fans. If you look on the back of any duragloss product you will see how makes it at 1/3 the price
