Default Need Advise with Rust

I've already posted pics and asked around in GX forum but figured I would get some more helpful advised on proper car caring against rusts. Now I live in Chicagoland so weather condition isn't the greatest and our GX came from Michigan which is worst. Here are the pictures let me know what could be done and what i should do. Thanks Guys!

I would look up the rust warranty and if still in effect contact Lexus about it.

damn man, that sux I'd definitely talk to lexus about that. what year is the car?
I've had a rusty battery tray before that I managed to grind down and spray w/ a rust inhibitor before coating w/ some regular old spray paint. Turned out fine for the engine bay it was in. But obviously this is a little more extensive and a different approach is probably warranted here.

called up lexus and they are only covering rust against the paint(bodypaint) they are saying they can't do anything about undercarriage rusts which is pretty sad. Mine is 2004, I am not too familiar with these, anyone have info or experience with these?

My 2004 RX looks like new under the vehicle. I live in Wisconsin so the winter salt use is about the same. I run my RX through a Touchless car wash in the winter months and get the undercarriage flushed. You need to get the salt washed off regularly or your see the result.

I'd plan on trading that vehicle off on another soon. I really don't like the look of some of those welds. It looks to me like it would require an extreme effort to eradicate the rust on that vehicle.

there are many ways you can go about getting rid of the rust, one of them is to tear the truck down and replace with all new parts, second, tear it down and have the rust sandblasted, all blasted parts powdercoated and reassemble the truck, third, try to scrape off as much as you can and spray undercoating, which will temporarily slow down the process, forth selling the rust bucket and buy one from sunny Florida,Cali Arizona ,Texas, e.t.c , if you'd like, I can fix your rust problems, have it picked up by one of my transporting guys, tear it down ,blast, powdercoat ,re-assemble it and ship it back to you

wow. i never even bothered to check the underside.

WD40 is very cheap. I think i'd spray some after each rain shower.

luckily that rust hasn't eaten through completely.

POR15 is the product I'd use.
