Porter Cable Split in 2

Aww, I can understand that. The only time I can do a real detail is during breaks. Sucks mucho
Got the Makita in today. I'll prolly make another thread when I take pics/play with it. Apparently the BP that it came with is exactly 6.5 inches so I can practice (I guess lol). Anything I should watch out for Henry?
I tend to go overboard when I like something so much. But I guess this is abnormal wear and tear. Porter Cable has not responded to my email either. So I guess they don't know what to say or how to react
I think I'll make a banner in my garage of this. "Destroyer of PC's!" with a PC in the background

They're awesome to dry pads with..much better than the PC.
Things you should watch out for: working on side panels. It's harder to get the pad flat on the paint while applying light pressure. You'll fine yourself struggling a bit unless you're a natural. you may experience pad skipping the first time. If you're a right hander, use your left hand to hold the head of the rotary and use your right hand to hold the handle. Your left hand will be stabilizing the machine, while your right hand will be moving it. I find that the handles are harder to use, but who knows...you may like it.
What kind of pads are you using?

I'm going to be using my LC pads. 4 and 6.5 inch. Since the BP is currently 6.5, I'll be practicing with the 6.5 until I place an order in the future for BPs
Its an addicting thing thats for sure!
