the only time i let any dealership wash the cars is when i take the e30 convertible to bmw, it gets a top down hand wash there and they do a darn good job.
lexus swirled the paint so bad on the cars that the dealership paid to have a professional detailer fix their mistakes
some dealerships are better than others all of this is from dealers in tampa, florida

Don't ever let a dealership wash your car unless you want or don't mind a bunch of new swirls and scratches that will get put in, they are not going to take the time and do a proper job and are not going to use new clean microfiber rags/mits/towels and a clean bucket of clean water. They are going to use old dirty rags/mits/towels and do it roughly and quickly as possible which is going to put a ton on swirls and scratches in your paint. It is not their car so they don't really care about it, it is just their job to "wash" it and nothing else.

depends. if it's 25 degrees out and my car is dirty. Yes...
I just got my car wash yesterday at Lexus dealership for bluetooth problem but noticed that they used the automatic car wash system, which they do have a hand wash area next to it.
Can you JUST go in for a car wash? noob.
