Default what leather cleaner do you use?

Just curious what leather cleaner/protectors you guys have had best luck with to preserve the look and feel of the leather of your new Lexus. And how often do you apply the stuff.

when i usually go wash my car, i have them clean inside too and in addition to that they use i think it called "amborolo" or something like that, for leather and/or rubber for the tires.

actually when i had the 1st generation gs i had the leather repaired from lexus due to a cigarette burn and i asked the lady who repaired it and she said the best thing is warm soap and water to clean the leather and lexol conditioner but she specifically said DO NOT USE the lexol cleaner. she says shes been working with the lexus leather for 6 yrs and she says it contains some ingredient that is to harsh. just thought i would add my 2 cents. ps i do not smoke in my new gs4

Thumbs up Either

I use either Lexol or Zaino. I've used Lexol for years prior to discovering Zaino products & feel that they work about the same. However, there was a post from Jayson a few weeks back which suggested "feeding" the leather. Try these:

Personally I have used Mother's cleaner/conditioner which I loved but some people who have been in my car didn't like the coco butter smell that it produced.. So I switched over to Zaino (Z10 - Leather in a bottle) and it works extremely well..

Hope that helps!

Ken

PS: Here is the link to Zaino..

I use a product called "MALCO" leather conditioner. I get it from a friend who supplies most of the local detailer's on the island. It works very well and doesn't feel greasy after you put it on.

I've used the Zaino leather cleaner and leather in a bottle (Z-9 and Z-10 respectively). I feel they work great.
