How does foam washing compare to other, dirt-emulsifying products like ONR? I mean, I never have swirling problems with ONR even just using one bucket. Foam cannoning sure looks fun, but in the time it takes to spray, dwell, and rinse, I could have washed half my car with ONR already.

I personally think it works a ton better than ONR even if it does take some extra time. I can fully wash a car with my foam cannon in 30min (40min total if you count setting it up). Most of the soaps I use liquefy and let the crud slide down the car within that time frame so its much safer.

The thing that puts me off from using ONR often is the sound it makes when you wash a car. It kills me to hear it haha

Sure thing bud! Don't expect shaving quality like with a cannon but you'll have fun with it regardless. I had a Foammaster for 1 month before I bought a PW and foam cannon. Its addicting once you get the right soap ratios down

i purchased this foam gun since i cant seem to find the gilmour foamaster at a decent price. i found it at a local tractor supply co store for $29.99. it was recommended on autopia. it seems to work well and it has a quick disconnect so you can remove the tank quickly and still have a decent hose attachment. dont know if you can do that with the gilmour model.

Default Foam Blaster

I went to Home Depot yesterday and saw that they are selling a cheap ($25.00) foam sprayer attachment for power washers. Says it can support up to 4000psi and attaches to the end of a standard wand.

I bought one and sprayed down my LS430 with some Meguires Gold Class car wash concentrate. Was not really impressed with the foam thickness, but i guess it did ok. I'll try some other car wash liquids and see if there is any difference.

Cheers.

From what I've read on other detailing forums, it sucks up the entire bottle regardless of it being pure soap or a mixture of soap and water. To give you an idea of the foam, Gold Class concentrated in the foam cannon makes foam and bubbles that float away in the wind lol
