That looks like my black GS before I got a Porter Cable, boy what a difference after a thorough polish and some Menz IP and a orange 4" pad, funny how most people including me before I read up on detailing cars think a wax is what gives a car that perfect glossy finish when it is really a good polishing that gives it or brings back that perfect glossy finish. I still unfortunately have chips, road rash, sap/bird etchings in my hood/bumper that no machine can remove Hopefully I will be able to repaint the hood and front bumper one of these days. Looking forward to seeing your results.

The before pics look like my GS's hood, I can't wait for this winter to be over so I can start detailing the car again.

Halogens and Brinkmann are generally the best swirl finders you can use to take pictures with. Also taking pictures with the flash on the paint works as well

Great job on it though. Looking good so far. Though you are correct, I would gladly trade the Harley I was working on to work on some real paint. Chrome is annoying....
