Washing Car options
For those of you who like me don't have a house garage, but an apartment garage shared by others, and poor lighting (in my case), and no power outlet.
Where do you go for self service type car washes.
I live in the Queens area, and my friends with houses live in New Jersey, so borrowing their space everytime I need a wash would be inconvenient.
Are there any local or not too far self service car wash areas that takes quarters for example. I plan on getting all the materials I need, but don't have a place to wash the car.
Also, I plan on getting a decent detailing/ polishing kit, but again power is another obstacle.
What do you guys do in this case?
Thanks

2nd! ONR is a life saver in these exact situations!

Pair w/ either a sheepskin wash mitt or quality microfiber towel (ie: elite, fluffer, etc). Then just dry using a waffle weave drying towel and you're done

Thanks guys for the quick response, I guess that will be my last option, unless I either do the following:
- Borrow a friends place to do a major wash, and detail with full artillery. (but would be limited. I don't like owing favors, and inconveniencing others.)
- Find a self car wash place, and just pop quarters. (Would rather this)
- ONR in my garage. (And if my neighbor sees my car so shiny and scratch free, maybe he'll stop walking up against my car with his personal belongings.).
Thanks,
And Chris you have a PM.

The panic button
eyezack87...I like your thinking.
Whenever I see someone close to my car, I hit the panic button. I get a laugh everytime I see their reaction. And you know what, I never scared the same person twice.
