Microfiber
Which of you use microfiber towels or other microfiber products to clean/detail your car? Have any of you used Cobra microfiber products?
I use microfiber for everything from cleaning windows to drying the car and for waxing and buffing. I have used the 80/20 blend that I bought in bulk from Sam's Club and found them to be phenomenal. I used to use old bath towels to dry the car, but the lint was terrible! When I found out about Microfiber, I couldn't believe the results. I used to dread cleaning the windows on the inside, but not anymore! No more streaking or hazing! I even use it in the home.
However, I was really wondering if anyone uses Cobra products? Thanks!

I use nothing but Microfiber I'm sure you'll find that the detail nuts have loads of microfiber at their disposal
Aside from having different microfiber for drying, glass, interior and exterior, you can start to collect microfiber in different color (w/in the same towel) to differentiate their duties! It becomes addicting, as I'm sure you've already found out!
I've never used cobra, but heres a link, if you have any questions or would like some recommendations, just let me know

How true you are. I got about 50 of them so far and they get used almost everyday!
Thank you for the link as well. I'm sure I'll be in touch!

I had purchased in bulk from Sam's Club 50 80/20 MF towels. They are made by ProForce. They get the job done, seem to be holding up well. I also purchased some smaller sized MF towels from Walmart for glass cleaning and wax application, but I'm not happy with the quality as they do not appear to be holding up as well. I don't even know what the blend is, as it was not specified on the package. Those are made by MicroTex. I believe they are a 70/30 blend because they are thinner.
I had been reading a lot about Cobra's MF towels. They seem to be of high quality, and that's why I wanted to hear from folks that actually used them, how they like them and how are they holding up. They are a bit expensive on some blends and sizes, so I just wanted some opinions.

"2. The ratio of the polyester and polyamide blend is important. While 80% polyester and 20% polyamide is typical, a 70/30 blend will absorb water faster. As polyamide is much more expensive than polyester, you can expect to pay more for a 70/30 blend."

Cant really comment on the Cobra MF towels, but I use chemical guys MF towels and they work really well. Its cheaper than cobra towels too I believe.

Vincent, thanks for the feedback. I checked the Chemical Guy's website, and the towels are cheaper than the Cobra's. You just gave me another web site to add to my car care favorites list!

i have a couple cobra towels...there alright. they start to get stiff after awhile. I also have Autopia towels, they dont hold up as well if you ask me..the edges start to fray. I like the pakshak towels the best. I also like the glimmer glass eliet towels for quick detailing..very soft.
