All I can say is WOW. I've been looking online seeing how ppl restore their yellow headlights with this and that kit. Then I thought to myself that the polish they use really nothing but abrasive polish. So I tried 105 on my mom's 5 years old car. It really took me no longer than 3 minutes to get all the yellow off of the headlight. I did it by hand with an applicator pad, yup I didn't even use the polishing pad. The result was 98% better than before. I haven't even put 205 to ice the cake but I will try it later. I'm just posting this to let you guys know other alternatives beside the kits they are selling out there.

I will find a car tomorrow and do a headlight restoration. I will take pic of before and after.
This is for those of you who aren't familiar with detailing. The product I used is really nothing but a cutting compound, it is the most abrasive compound Meguiars' offering right now. It is used to remove swirls and scratches on paint. I wouldn't go out there and buy this product just for the headlight restoration because it cost like $30 for a 32oz bottle. I tried it because I have it.
If you have any kind of polish/compound at home, try it fisrt, it will more likely will work.

Yup. Most polish have similar properties. Think of them as very fine sandpaper.
Polishing gets the surface contamination out, but wetsanding makes the lens smoother than *****
Those with newer headlights, or at least one that's not yellowed, you guys should try the UV protector spray thingy for plastics.
