Default PC Counterweight Question

The PC Counterweight says "for use with 6 inch pad only" Do you guys take the weight off if using 5.5 inch or 4 inch pads or can I leave it on the PC for all pad sizes?

Thanks!

You should be fine with just keeping the 6" one on there. I kept my 6" on there ever since I owned it

6" counterweight with 5.5" pads is my favorite combo.

Thank you both! Off to start the polishing process. Washed and Clayed last night. Going to start with OP on a white pad and see what happens. I can move up to OP on a orange pad if needed. If the paint needs something stronger than OP on orange then I don't know what I'll do because I didn't buy anything stronger.
