hmm. THe flex one looks neat, BUT...im not about to spend $500 on a polisher LOL. No offense, its a good price for that item, but Im looking for something no more than $150-$200 MAX. The PC is right up my alley.

As for rotary, I am great with them, never had an issue.

Ebay has a few 7424's for $50-100 slightly used, that will prolly be my best bet.

sorry didn't know you were a pro detailer or knew how to work on a rotary, sorry we don't sell used equipment just new.

as for the flex its $279.95, the kit with pads, mf , polishes, wax, clay bar , clay lube is the one that's about $500.

Just wanted to make sure it was clear, the machine is not $500.

Or you are good. and Yes, as I said That is a great deal, but I only do this on the side, 1-2 cars a week MAX lol. If I was doing it for a living like i used to, making 4-5k a week, I would definately invest in that kit. That thing looks awesome.

But, alas, the military takes priority

Hehe, we aren't allowed to post our work here unless its our personal vehicles Phil. Even the members who signed up long ago can't post their work. Quite sad since it was ruined by other people coming on and just posting in the detailing section their C/Bs

Yeah, at the very least people with over 100 post count or something should. That should be enough proof that they aren't here for a free lunch and all

Phil

It's OK for CL detailers to post progress and pics of their personal vehicles, but the click and brags were such an ongoing problem (requiring daily / constant moderator attention) I prefer keeping the rules as is.

Before you joined CL, over a period of six months we tried a couple of interim steps to keep the click 'n' brag posts in check and productive. Unfortunately that didn't stem the tide of problem posts, both from the drive-by detailers purely soliciting and some of our professional / semi-pro detailer members on our forum.
