Default Spray wax inbetween waxes?

Hello Everyone,

I just had my car waxed with Zaino two weeks ago and I'm about to give it a car wash this weekend to get rid of the heavy dust film that has settled on it. Should I use some kind of quick spray wax just to give it a bit of sealant inbetween waxings?

I'd appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!

yes that would be a good idea it will prolong the life of the Zaino.

You can use Zaino's quick detailer ....

Swissvax Quick Finish
Einszett Spray Wax

Let me know.

Yep, I agree... its a nice, quick way to give some added durability to your finish.

There are a lot of options out there.

You can do something like Optimum Car Wax, which is very easy to use and doesnt require the product haze up before removing. Simply spray on, wipe/buff and you're done.

Blitz Spray sealant is also a great option: http://www.glimmerglassdetailing.com/blacspse.html

IIRC, Bryan uses Meguiars Ultimate Wax inbetween washings due to water restrictions down in San Diego. You can try that too because he says its very good stuff

Meg's new lineup is quite awesome as Isaac said; You can also use the Optimum Quick Detailer (which is what Isaac and I use); Richard (Prima's) Banana gloss/ Hydro also work quite well.

I've been using Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax for the last three weeks (I wash my car once a week) all I can say is the product works great! I apply a coat right after I finish drying the car, wipe it off and let it cure over night, then the next morning I top it off with some Zaino Z6 Detail Spray and man it really does make that much of a difference it just shines!

I've become a huge fan of the DuraGloss Aquawax in the last few months. The only product that I have used that I believe creates deeper gloss and better protection is Zaino Z8. DG AW can't be beat for the price though, IMO.

How do you guys discern between all the Zaino products? Is there some diagram outlining what each product is best suited for, ie Z6 vs. Z8 etc?

Lexminster,
Their website will tell you everything you need to know as well.
Their own Z6 gloss enhancer is a good quick detailer after a wash if possible, but it can be used other ways I am sure; just be careful that you dont introduce scratches into the paint, if you are not using it AFTER a wash..
Their Z8 is the ultimate detailer but its pretty pricey and even they dont recommend you use it for just cleaning the paint - unless money is no object, right ??
As has also been said, there are alot of other products that can be used, but for me, I prefer to stay within the same product line, and have had great success with it so far, about 9 years worth of Zaino product line use..

Later on this year, I am going to detail an older Jaguar for a friend, and this time I will get pics so you can see what I yak about all the time..

Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax all the way. The shine will amaze you! I put a coat of Collinite 845 on by buddies 4Runner and he tops it off with UQW after each wash. The car looks as though he spent all day waxing it!

Z8 is a great Zaino product to use between coats of wax but it is pricey.
