I have a question about some products please. This will be my first time trying these products and somewhat of a bootleg detail.

So I just bought "ICE" Liquid clay bar from turtle wax, after doing this step, should i move onto meguires QD spray or do the lquid wax/ploish then the QD?

Im trying to get a good shine on the car. For a newbie, should i stick with one one brand or mix?. ive seen other members with about 15different products at once but i think im not ready for that.

Sorry for such a thread but any help will be great.

Wash
Clay
Wax

In your case. Basically QD is used when needed. There is no set part for it. You can however wipe down the whole car after you are done.

The Turtlewax ice really isn't a "claybar" per say..just buy a normal claybar

Go return that "ICE" Liquid clay bar back to the store and get your money back. It's crap and doesn't do anything. You're better off buying the Mother's Clay Bar kit.

I will do that after looking at the reviews.

Thanks.

+1 on getting a clay bar kit. you should be able to find these kits at your local auto parts store and/or target or walmart

Make sure to study up on how to use the clay bar, especially on the importance of lubrication. It's not hard, just want to make sure to get a good picture of what you're taking on before you try it.
