In performance: none. In application: advantage liquid if you use a PC or similar polisher to apply.

No I would not. I think the liquid is easier to apply a thin even coat but some prefer the old-school approach of using a tin of wax. Either will deliver the same protection.

FWIW, I didn't mean that in a derogatory way. I actually enjoy using a carnauba paste by hand occasionally. I've got a few tins of Meg's #16 that I love. Smells like crayons and is a very durable carnauba. It is just feels "old school" to me but then I'm an old guy.

Generally speaking paste waxes or hard waxes can have a lot more raw carnauba in it. The more raw carnauba the better in my opinion. Carnauba wax is naturally hard as a brick so more ingredients are added to make them usable. Liquid waxes have a lot more oils in them to help them spread more easily. Sometimes these waxes look good but they tend to be more temporary. If you prefer a liquid form of protection try an artificial wax, which is better known as a sealant. Sealants protect far longer and still look really good. Sometimes I apply a paste wax on top of the sealant for that extra gloss and some added protection. Let me know if you'd like some recommendations we carry a ton of great options.
